RE: 2002 8.1 engine tick

You may want to check the exhaust pipe donut gaskets on each side. I had to repace mine at 40K miles the pipes were very loose. The valve train at 74k miles is not noisy.

RE: Dometic refrig whine

Probably the cooling fan or fans if it is a four door. Does the noise stop when you open the door? If yes then it is fan noise.

RE: Towing any of the newer Toyota RAV

Well I tow a 2011 Rav 4. I have a Remco pump that I installed. Mine is a 4WD. The traction controll has a switch. Anyway no problem. I had a salesman tell me the purpose of the 4WD lock switch was to make it stronger, so perhaps the person you talked to may have been in error. Remco does not make a pump for all Toyota transmissions. Feel free to PM if I can provide any further info. Marv

Need some Norcold Help

I have a 1200 series 4 door Norcold. Made in 2001 and been running FT with no incidents until this week. It ran a week ago. Yesterday started it and did not cool on electric. Checked both fuses. Put it on gas. Ran approx two minuets and shut down; no lights, no codes. About 5 minuets later it started and ran another two minuets. This repeated 4 or 5 more times then it continued to run. After 4 hours no cooling at the fins. Rechecked fuses. There appears to be a slight deformation of one of the IC's on the left side of the board. Any thoughts before I call a mobil tech? Also no yellow residue and cooling fans are both running. Thanks Marv

Norcold Revision E

A friends norcold showed a red light on the module. The moble tech said there is a Revision E that he installed. He charged $25 for the service call and told her that Norcold paid for the change. Anyone heard of this? Marv

My Fleetwood also has a drawer under the fridge and under the drawer is the converter and of course a junction box. Have too look, I don't recall if plastic or metal.

RE: DESPERATE NORCOLD HELP NEEDED

If necessary you could get a cheap styrofoam cooler for your refer stuff and dry ice it until you resolve the problem.

RE: Work station slide release

Look for a small lever on each rail. Lift the lever on one side depress the lever on the other rail as you pull the desk top toward you. That is how mine releases. Good luck.

RE: Reliable and honest Service.

Probably laid the hub cap down and dropped the wheel on it. But I guess we will never know what business it was. Must have signed a non-disclosure statement.

RE: Blue Ox blew it!!! Worst customer service????

A piece of duct tape across the end would serve to keep the dirt and water out of the key slot.
