Well we are in Myrtle Beach and I had a check engine light come on while on the way down here. I had oreillys scan it and came back with a bad egr valve. My question is can I make it back home or do I need to fix this while im here?

RE: Help, water spraying everywhere!

Ok guys problem solved. You guys are great. I did figure out that the quick connect fittings do not work very well when the pex isn't cut straight or it does have a bur or something. I did figure out that the pex has to be pushed in tight and then the c ring put around the fitting. Thanks again for all the help.

RE: Help, water spraying everywhere!

I pushed the tube all the way in and then pulled back to put the c collar on it. Thats it right. Its half inch pex and thats what they said the fitting were for.

Help, water spraying everywhere!

Not sure if this can go here or not. A few weeks ago we were camping and when I was packing to leave I noticed that I had some wetness in my basement right under the toilet. So I shut off the water since we were leaving anyway and decided to fix it at home. I tried tightening the fittings and it worked on some but not on others, so this weekend I went to the camper supply store to get some more fittings. The guy sold me some quick connect fittings. I put them on today, one tee and one union, I hooked the hose to the camper and went to turn it on and came back water spraying out of the new fittings. So needless to say I'm not very happy right now. Did I miss an important step with the new fittings? Sorry for the lengthy post.
