Dexter sent the check

I posted on 3/24 that Dexter sent me a hub assemble for one of the neverlube axels on the fiver that was still under there warrenty even though Western RV went bankrupt. I faxed Dave a bill for $125 and some change received the check on 4/12 paid in full. What a great hassel free experiance from a fine company. Filled out there customer satisfaction form with very satisfied on all 6 questions and added my thoughts on Dave as well.
P.S.
The check came to me a little momma dont know money:D

RE: Grinding sound

Try backing up for a few feet and see if it goes away> Could just be a small rock jammed in a brake shoe which will fall out from being reversed.

RE: What pin box should I consider

I just bought a new FW 40' Raptor. We are thinking of putting a cushined pin box but there are several to choose from. One I here a lot is Moryde.I have also seen one that is quite different called Demco? I would appreciate any in put.
I like the Demco it is in the plans to replace the air hitch I currently have with the Demco. I have a business relationship with Demco and there agricultural products they are a top notch company and stand behind there product this is a major factor in my decision good luck.

RE: Replace electric levelling jacks with hydraulic??

Or install another motor so you have a motor on each landing gear and a rocker switch for each that would be easy to do and would give you twice the lifting power.

RE: question about 5th wheel towing

I had the mounts installed at factory when I ordered the 2011 F350 but I did not buy the hitch. The hitch is a Reese elite with puck mounts. If installed by a reuputable shop I dont think it would make a differance.

RE: Blood Thinner

I have been on coumadin since I was eighteen I only test monthly. As stated you will need prescriptions from a dockter you can go to most any clinic or hospital to have a protime done. You then wil want them to send the results to your dockter this can be done via e:mail or fax, the Doc. can then e:mail or fax your prescription to a pharmacy you want to use.
Dont know why the little faces are coming up on email

RE: Arrogant

I don't think he was claiming that that type of load was safe to tow across the country on the interstate. He claimed his truck had a lot of power and pulled it easily. Why would the load be unsafe. I bet he was under on all axles.
MM49
Care to wager how far it would take or how many cars would get mowed under when he tried to keep from rear ending the wreck in front of him.
It might have the grunt to get going but it most definitely doesnt have the brakes to stop fast.
And yeh it does look like the folks in the first thread were right.
I don't believe he is over axel weight much if any so why would he have a problem stopping there are brakes on the trailer. You city slickers think your trucks are worked pulling a 16k 5ver hell thats the easiest towing mine gets.

RE: Arrogant

On I another thread i was accused of being arrogant for claiming I need a bigger trailer to find my truck's towing limit. I know allot of people on here think the gvwr numbers are some kind of magical numbers that actually mean something - I used my cell phone to make a little video that I hope gives some indication of how comfortably my F350 SRW handles a 30,000 lb trailer. This new truck is easily towing twice what it is rated for. (towing this trailer is as relaxing as taking the car for a Sunday drive) My 03 diesel didn't handle half this weight as confidently yet both are rated for roughly 15000 lb 5th wheels. My point is that the new series of diesels are much more capable than the old even though the weight ratings haven't really changed all that much. http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k585/4x4ord/2012-03-28155731.jpg

That's just a hair over 20k. Where are you getting 30k at? 1800 per bale and 7k for trailer. My problem is your willfull acceptance of exceeding axle limits without care. Oh, and your continuous pimping of silly Fords.
Mav
Mr straw boss with your figures he is at 32,200 lbs. where are you getting 20k you evidently not hauled bales before the pic is deceiving

RE: Can I walk on my roof?

Not to worry just make sure no rocks or sharp objects on bottom of shoes as not to cut the roof.
Even at 280lbs?
scrap panelling will distribute the weight
