'Windows failed to start' message I had similar problem. you have an option to reload from a restore point. try that and see if you get back your speed. go to my computer icon right click select property take option advance system setting option system protection and select system restore. RE: Chevy 454 running a little hot you need to watch the fan clutch when you rib up rpm the fan should increase also. it the rotation stay the same your clutch is not engaging . turning freely when engine is not running is not a good test. the clutch has a sensor that when temp encrease the sensor tighten the clutch and the fan speeds up till temp decrease and then sensor cools and fan slows down.JMHO also as others have said radiator or debrid in coils.
