You are betting that something will happen/fail and the insurance company is betting that it won't. How lucky do you feel?

RE: Extended Warranty....again

jmho even though the price looks good and coverage seem reasonable. Its the company who at the end will pay the service. Seem to me that most seem to find ways not to pay and your fault you did take care of your rig. I would try to check out the company complaint on that company before you buy. I hear alot of good on good sam than any other company. again JMHO

RE: Why a pressure regulator on the water line?

the home have a pressure regulator for the reason to keep your pipe from bursting. It maintanins a constant pressure at all times into your home. The same thing need to be maintain with pipes in your camper, as people us their toliets , showers, laundry , etc. the pressure in city pipes will changes up and down. if pressure excess in your pipes the break or fitting breaks apart. Thats why a regulator is nice to have because most places don't have regulated water. plus the rv type regulator are about 45-50 psi. homes are about 90psi. JMHO

RE: Internet search records

try tools / general tab/ click box that say deleting browers history at exit. under browing history , then run defrag disk to help finding stuff you don't want to be found. defrag will rearrange your disk data and close open spaces to make your sys run faster. JMHO

RE: MSE

it will protect anything in from the network. Its a firewall protection. Here is what its says
What's new in Microsoft Security Essentials?
This version of Microsoft Security Essentials includes the following new features and enhancements to better help protect your PC from threats:
•
Windows Firewall integration. You can turn Windows Firewall on or off using Microsoft Security Essentials.
•
Network inspection system. This feature enhances real-time protection by inspecting network traffic to help block exploitation of known network-based vulnerabilities.
•
New and improved protection engine. The updated engine offers enhanced detection and cleanup capabilities with better performance.
These features are described in more detail in the following sections.
Windows Firewall integration
Windows Firewall can help prevent attackers or malicious software from gaining access to your PC. When you install Microsoft Security Essentials, the installation wizard verifies that Windows Firewall is turned on. If you have intentionally turned off Windows Firewall, you can avoid turning it on by clearing a check box. You can change your Windows Firewall settings at any time via the System and Security settings in Control Panel.
Network inspection system
When your PC connects to a network, it can become vulnerable if the network is vulnerable. Studies of network vulnerabilities show that it can take a month or longer from the time of an initial attack report before a suitable security update is developed, tested, and released. This gap in protection leaves too many PCs open to attack. The network inspection system works with real-time protection so that you’re protected hours after exploits are discovered—not weeks.
Award-winning protection engine
Under the hood of Microsoft Security Essentials is its award-winning protection engine that is updated regularly. The engine is backed by a team of antimalware researchers from the Microsoft Malware Protection Center, providing responses to the latest malware threats 24 hours a day.

RE: I gotta vent.

I thought rv'ing was to be relaxing no matter what happen. spoil we are huh? we take the everything like being at home. I remember when I was young a tent was all I needed. I can tell you even now I have a class c never has anything gonna well. My first outing with my new rig was my inverter stop working so I had no pwr to 12v system. no biggy, I bought a charger connect to battery and everything worked and enjoy rest of camping. no need to get pi***ed off.

RE: I gotta vent.

I hate to say this but your switch will not I REPEAT WILL NO turn off everything. you need to (disconnect from battery wire ) in order to make sure not current draw. If you need help or have no experience on rv'ing ask here or buy cd or books to show you how to maintain your rv in a way you can enjoy. please don't say to those who want to help (Besides, it's irrelevant as to what the problem is. It has yet again screwed our trip (so far 2 of 3 have failed due to the trailer) We want you have enjoyment of your trailer. JMHO
