RE: States names

There's a town in Texas called 'Iraan". Nope, not Iran, but Ira-Ann. Very nice little RV park there. FHUs for $12.00 a day. There were deer and rabbits wandering though when we were there. Very small town; very nice folks. Oh, Alley-Oop and his dinosaur live there too.

RE: Pretend you were gone for a week - how wild would it get?

My love would have fifteen projects started and none finished. He would eat Cheez-its for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a side of M&Ms. He would be collapsed on the sofa with the dog crashed out on his lap, her poor disgestive system having visibly protested the weird diet. I'd better not leave...or take the pooch with me.

RE: Quartsite

If the flag is up, the host is there. That's the 'secret code'.

RE: Quartzsite BLM Any one there

We're confused about enforcement at Quartzsite. We pull in and before our jacks are down, ranger or camp host is there to register us. Other folks sit there for weeks, if not months. A Canadian friend of ours sat for over two months in a 14 day area. We pulled in and here comes the camp host. LOL! I said "What about HIM?". Our friend was ticked at me but got over it. One winter we came and went many times. Three large RVs sat within view of the host all winter. They'd leave to dump and come back.

RE: Do you hurt everyday?

I did 'inventory' this morning and at least my elbows didn't hurt. Thank the Lord for small blessings! As for exercize, I've been walking a mile a day for years. Have no idea where I am. LOL!

RE: Uses For Empty Plastic Folgers Containers

I cut a small round hole in the lid, then put a ball of yarn inside. I can crochet outdoors and not get the yarn dusty/dirty.

Internet Explorer 8

Is Internet Explorer 8 good for a Dell Inspiron and a 'baby' Dell? We're not tech geniuses, but not idiots either. Working all summer and haven't had a chance to ask anyone. Thanks.

RE: How to clean shades?

With ours, we yanked the dang things out and replaced with blinds. They're not noisy if you travel with them up.

RE: Poor Decision Making

And these people procreate too. Dumb and (then dumber). And they vote! (Shudder!)

RE: First trip...maybe not

Is it measles? Seems that is coming back after all these years.

RE: It is WET in Montana...

Beaverhead County in S.W. Montana has snowpack 138% of normal. Winter storm watches today, tonight and tomorrow; maybe a foot of snow above 6,000 ft. 38 degrees was our high today. It's cold and wet and very windy. If you've got somewhere warmer to be, hang there for a while.
