Thanks everyone. Yes I'm hoping to feel much better now. Had the pacemaker put in yesterday, spent last night for observation and plan to go home today. I'm taking advantage Of the vicadin being offered.

Ty is lucky to have such a great teacher Bonnie! What BOM are you working on? I nearly signed up for one, but realized that I was going to miss at least half of the months due to work and rallies.
One must have their priorities, right? :B
There is a free one on Craftsy on the internet. You have video and can print out instructions. I like that you can work on it anytime you want but can't skip ahead. You get two blocks each month. I have signed up for other classes and they don't have a time limit. One of the classes shows you how to quilt as you go and it is very simple. I have some embroidery blocks that I want to make and then use the quilt as you go method to put them together. Check out the site, some you have to pay for but the BOM is free.

Can't sleep so I'm working on my block of the month and decided I would share a nice and a funny thing.
First funny, Ty called to say she was kicked out of school. She had her appendix removed last Fri. and went back to school on Tues. with her Dr.'s ok. The school felt it was too early to return and send her home till this coming Mon. Ty wasn't a happy camper.
Second, Ty made her first quilt in sewing class and the teacher thought she did such a nice job that the quilt is now hanging in the school library. I just know that it was due to her grandma showing her how to nest her corners. I have been setting up a real nice sewing area for her in her basement for her birthday present. She has her sewing area and her cutting area plus storage. What more could any quilter ask for. It is nice to have a sewing partner.

Today is our Stitches 3rd birthday and again I want to thank Robin for bringing her into our lives. We get such love and kisses from her and Racer is so good putting up with all her mischief.

I drove a Penske truck down for an older lady moving here. I was hoping that the weather here would help my hip heal too. The weather is nice here but all three of us, the other driver and the lady, ended up with noses that won't stop running and lots of sneezing. My hip has gotten worse till it is now where it was mid December. Counting the hours (23) till I get home hoping I can get off the pain pills again and turn the spigot off. Something here isn't agreeing with any of us but I got it worse then the others. When I get home I'm going to celebrate by going camping even if it snows.
I sneezed and dripped from the time we moved into FL and stopped when we moved out three years later. The tropical weather isn't for everyone.

Bonnie, You just need to get out camping. I suspect far too many hours in the sewing room. I'll let you know next time I go out. Might be in 3 weeks. Been so warm last few days that I washed all the slush and salt off from Sunday's return trip. Its now sitting shiny and ready to get dirty again. Randu
I hope my mental is only because of looking at the four walls and needle up, needle down. Give us notice, would like to join you if Jordin doesn't have a meet.
Our DIL is going to school full time for nursing and our son is on call on the weekends for the railroad. We said we would help out with the girls activities for the next two years so DIL can carry a full class load.

Today I really had a senior moment. I was in a hurry to check out at JoAnns and forgot to take my strap material and have it cut. When I handed that bolt of ribbing to the check out clerk and said I was getting 4 yds. the lady told me I needed to get it cut first and I must of had an odd look on my face because she asked me if I was ok. All I could think of was how many times didn't I ask seniors if they were ok when they looked confused. I think I am ready for assisted living.
After I got home I realized I needed to start planning for the autumn of my life.

We are heading to the RV show in Louisville tonight. Corey is coming with us, so that should be fun.
He likes to ask "and what do you like about THIS one?" :B
I have to pace myself as I am working Sat & Sun at CVS, hope I have enough energy to last the weekend!

No toters, but I practically had to drag him away from the Mobile Suites!! He was talkin' trade :E
Mobile Suites are good if they have the big refrigerator.

Came home to find the cover on the MH not on the MH. It's torn in many places and it pulled the tiedowns out of the cover. We now have a bunch of worthless material and no protection for the MH.:M:M:M:M:r
Hmmmm, can anyone make a quilt out of patches???
Will need many 2 1/2" squares.

Well, we're home. 1200 miles in 50 hours. Plus hospital visits, house cleaning and many discussions on home health care. We're exhausted. Sharyl's Dad should get out of the hospital tomorrow. Still has pneumonia, actually he contracted another strain of pneumonia while he was there. He's now on 3 different antibiotics. He has a few "masses" on his lung. They can't tell if it's cancer until they can clear up the pnuemonia. There wasn't anymore we could do so we came home. Sharyl got to have a good visit with her dad. Still trying to figure out all the ins and outs of Medicare home health care. Also need to have someone coming in to look after her Mom. She has diminchia and managed to over medicate herself 3 times while we were there. Sorry for the ramble. Just too tired. Nighty night.
Good luck with the health care, getting the correct answers isn't easy because everyone you talk with gives a different take on what will be provided.
Glad you're home and Sharyl's dad will be going home.

Congrats on the new rig.
That rig would be great for quilting if the back bedroom was stripped.
I have been quilting with my new quilting buddy for two days and have been having the best time of my life. Tyler is going to be some quilter in time and I'm so proud of her. Ty's 1/4" seam is right on and she is getting her square corners to meet right on point. I think I'm a better teacher then quilter.
