	RE: New user The Chevy 454 is a great engine. However there were issues with the valves overheating in motor homes (think steep mountain grades) As long as it was well maintained, it will run a ling time. Check the blistering again. If its soft, the wood may have water damage. The generator is probably gummed up from old fuel, It sounds like this unit has been sitting for a long time. This means that the rubber (tires, fuel lines, radiator hoses) are probably dry rotted. Have a good mechanic familiar with Chevy's check it out.	Bluestatueman	09/08/11 08:54pm	Class A Motorhomes
