Headlight Control
I need to replace the headlight control (switch) on my 98 Winnebago. I got the new control from Freightliner, but am just looking to have someone confirm how the knob itself is supposed to be removed from the switch. It sure looks to me like the knob is just pulled off the end, but it is extremely tight. Should I just put a vise grip on and yank it off?

I got the RVND GPS thinking that I would try it on our next trip and was totally prepared to return it at the next CW I stopped at. It has turned out to be very helpful while RV'ing. I like that I can select typical RV stops with just a button or two.
I decided to keep it. I like that I get free data updates as often as I want (via laptop link).
It gave me a wrong route once in Yellowstone, but for all I know that was some road restriction that I was not aware of.

RE: Onan Quiet Diesel 7,500 - won't start
If your genset runs for a few minutes and then shuts down, it is often an indicator that your house batteries are bad. I had this happen to me.
