RE: I-PAD 2 with 3G??

Thanks everyone for the input. I have checked out tablets at the electronics store & had the opportunity to play with an I-Pad 2 of my neice's. The I-Pad seems to have it all over the rest. Right now I am waiting for the results of a drawing on Dec 7th that my wife & I bought tickets for. The prize is an I-Pad 2. On the chance that I would win that, I won't have to shell out the big bucks. This one doesn't have 3G so I would have to work out some kind of trade. I am glad to hear you can turn the 3G off because I would not use it unless it was a really have to case. Right now I have a 17 inch laptop that doesn't work well when not plugged in. So that makes it a little cumbersome to use while traveling. I would think the I-Pad 2 would be so much handier with the portability & the 10 hr battery life. Can't wait to get one.

RE: Boring old oatmeal

I love oatmeal no matter how it is cooked. As a matter of fact, I even sprinkle uncooked Oat Bran on my cold cereal sometimes.
When I make oatmeal I usually add chopped walnuts, cranberries or raisins & either brown sugar or honey or molasses. I then add cinnamon & a little milk. Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, its so good in my Tummy.
When I was a kid, my mother put sugar, butter & milk on it & that is how I ate it then.

I-PAD 2 with 3G??

Has anyone purchased an I-PAD 2 with 3G? How does it work using WI-FI & does it work just as well using 3G?
Is there anything you especially like about it & anything you especially don't like about it.
I have been looking at tablets & the I-PAD 2 with 3G seems the way I am thinking of going. Just want to see what other folks think about it.

RE: My Ultra-Portable Smoker. Stores Anywhere! No Cleaning!

The proof is in the pudding. Liquid smoke is what my wife uses for her brisket & it is delicious. :)

RE: Cummins Fuel Economy Hauling 4K + Lb TC?

joe&julie81,
I have the same truck as you except for an auto trans & a 3.73 rear end. My milage varies from 12.5 mpg to 14.5 mpg depending on the wind, road conditions & how much city versus highway driving I do. I normally drive 55 to 60 mph but do crank it up to 65 mph to stay up with the traffic in some places.
With the fuel prices these days, I sometimes wish I had a 3/4 ton SRW with a real nice pop-up camper on the truck. I think that would bring the milage up 3 or 4 mpg.
