RE: Making a spot free rinse stick

and if I could add after washing take your leaf blower and get rid of the water spots all together. I put an extension on mine and hardly any water is left on the coach and it shines like new. Larry

RE: We Traded

I drive a lot less coach than described in this thread, and so may be out of line here. But what I hear is a guy who's a Newmar fan (justifiably) trading out to a Fleetwood, repeating how much he liked his Newmar, and glossing over the list of problems on his new Fleetwood.
My question: Why?
We have owned two newmars one nightmare because of workhorse and the dutchstar was a great coach I dont like the styles of the new dutchstar or the mountain aire we do like this rev. Had dutstar seven years and needed to trade while it still had trading value. New upgrades ect. This is not a fleetwood by the way. Not glossing over anything that I can think of. There are a few concerns that we have and american coach has agreed to correct them which is why we are going to factory. does this answer your why?? Larry

RE: Bedroom slideout stuck or something

It is frustrating when u get no answer here but the more info on coach you have will get you more responce. I dont know your coach but am sure many here do. Give as much info you can and MOST of the time you will get good info. Larry

RE: Same money, older higher end coach or newer not as nice one

We just traded in a 2005 newmar dutchstar motorhome. Not one thing wrong with it except maybe the bushing dust covers needing replaced (Spartan concern) I greased it every year I would not be concerned with anything with it. replaced the ac's and the NOCOLD refer Great coach but it was ours and we took care of it Hope the new owner enjoys it as much as we did. RE: Pulling to one side when applying brakes

It looks like you own a DP. Your problem sounds like a front wheel bearing oil wash gasket is leaking and spilling oil on the brake pads. Need a new gasket and brake pads. Not a big job.
My first thought. Air brakes rule out a lot of other causes.
Bottom line, you need to have the brakes checked by someone familiar with air brakes.

Just another reason for my DW to take avantage of my reasoning. I must agree that this is the most waste of our hard money that I have ever been allowed to spend. Wish I could get rid of it tonight and get a good nights sleep. Larry

RE: Straps fpr wondow awning that is built into the side topper

If it does not roll up into the awning I would try inserting a short piece of maybe 1/2 or 3/4" pvc into the loop and leaving it to stabalize the loop and maybe it will stay open for future use. Wont hurt to try. Larry

RE: We Traded

Hey all original poster here sorry for not returning sooner been busy. Our coach has a ten gallon DEF tank that I intend to fill and try to keep milage records as well as regeneration as it has already been thru one since we have had it. Milage from the computor says 5.8 miles to the gallon. Has to be wrog but maybe not. I just reset it and it says I have 986 miles to go on a 150 gallon tank. This coach idled for several hours which I say contributed to the regeneration as well as the low milage per gallon. We will be taking it back to the factory 5-29 2012 for some problems and adjustments. We will have to leave it. Not happy with this but we want it right when we get it back. We have paint issues which I will give american coach as well as the dealer credit for. Anyway AC has agreed to make it right I trust them to do so. We have been out twice since purchase aqua hot IS great. all other systems work except the satelite which I dont understand why they installed it this way. Takes two receivers to watch onall tv's. Coach batteries fine but had to replace chassis batteries when we returned home. Hole in one and would not hold charge. Dealer will not return calls or answer complaint. I will see where this goes. Any way we love the coach. Still keeping our fingers crossed as this was a good decision. Did I mention we are a Newmar Fan. But I have been a fan of American Coach for a long time too. Stay safe Larry

I am an employer not his but an employer just the same you have had good advice here so what are you going to do. He may really be hurt, maybe not but that is not the general public decision. DO your job and let HR do theirs. that way your are not useing your time worring about this. Larry

I have worked with people that do this at tower sites. Nothing near this height but plenty high for me to respect what they do. Most are young travel alot pretty funny at times and I guess they dont think any more about what they do than me connecting the electrical up sometines hot and they cant feel good about what I do. It takes all kinds I guess. Anyway travel safe Larry

RE: Tenn, state parks

What size campers are you camping in. Old Fort has a weight limit bridge to cross I dont believe it will handle a heavy class a at least with me driving it across it.(you should call and confirm) Campsites are small to say the least and the road matches. Other than that a pretty interesting park Indian artifacts galore fishing swimming on the duck river. River is small at this point as it is near the beginning of the river. Tims on the other hand has a couple full hook up sites that handle up to at least a 43 footer as we stay there a couple times a year. Great lake access, great fishing most of the time very deep lake, olympic pool, cabins, boat dock and store, boat rental, two public showers, miles of paved bike trails, wildlife a plenty both are very relaxing old fort close to town Tims is not however Jack Daniel is about 15 miles away and has free tours. The koa in manchester is very nice also Enjoy Larry

RE: 2012 KIA soul

we liked the kia. talked to a couple dealers and the only ones available for 4 down towing was their manual transmission. Dear wife demanded a automatic and they could not do this. We bought a ford focus Check out the manual if it aint so it aint so. Travel safe Larry
