RE: Dirty Laundry

We full time and use a regular laundry basket. Put it on the bed during the day and close the door. At night, it goes on one end of the couch.

RE: Full Time RV Residency?

When we went full time, we set up our residency in South Dakota. Terri at MyDakotaAddress.com was great to work with. Answered all of our questions, and basically led us by the hand thru the entire process.

RE: Pet(s) Question

All RV Parks differ in the inforcement of the rules. Call ahead and double check. If told "no", keep looking. There will be plenty of places that will tell you "yes" to your pet. We full time with 2 dogs, and even go so far as to pick places that have dog runs. Staying at a place without a spot for our dogs to run loose is (to us) like taking children to a place without a playground. :p

RE: Licking Dog delema

Thanks for all of the quick replies! I will let hubby in on what you all have said....esp Dr. Doug :) I was totally surprised to find out just how many of you out there are having the same problem.

Licking Dog delema

Our Blue Heeler Mix is constantly licking cloth. She licks to the point of saturating the material. Does this on both the couch and the bed. I have tried scolding, diversion, spraying the fabric with fabreeze and nothing is working. I'm about to the point of mixing up some cayene pepper water and spraying things with that. But I don't want her to burn her tongue. It's really annoying to go to sit on the couch, only to have to put a towel down because Shelby has gotten it wet. Kicking her off the couch and keeping her off the bed are not options. She is the original "couch potato". And both her and our Jack Russel Mix sleep in the bed with us. (Yes, it's crowded lol) But I really need some way of breaking her of this habit. Anybody out there have any ideas?

RE: Clothing to take

Don't fret too much about what to bring along. Take advice from above posts and remember, there are thrift stores everywhere to pick up what you either forgot or didn't think you would need.

RE: First Year Fulltiming...where to live?

Last winter we stayed at Desert Trails RV Park just outside of Tucson. Think the rate was $465/mo for FHU 30 amp. Lots of activities at the park, 2 nice dog runs. Great stuff to see and do in the area too. Only drawback is no TV reception, but that didn't bother us as we had a dish.
