External Antenna to Boost MIFI 4510L Internet Card
Anyone using some king of antenna or booster on your MIFI 4510 card? I understand LTE requires a special kind of antenna.
... Just curious as to the best thing to get. Thanks.

For me, the joy of motorhome or camper ownership comes from having a rig fully equipped with all the things and comforts of home you like on the inside. ....And since this is such a long list, I don't think I would ever consider renting one.
It takes quite a while to work out the kinks and get everything just like you like it. ... So unless you've done it before (camped in one for an extended period), you might want to rethink the hotel option. Just my humble opinion.

Keeping Honda 2000 Generator Out of Rain While in Use
I have one of the portable Honda 2000 generators. Was wondering what kind of set up some of you may have developed to keep your unit dry when using it while it's raining.
I looked online and can't seem to find anything. Someone suggested putting it in a small (well ventilated) dog house. Any suggestions?
I find that the times I want to use it most are usually when it's raining outside but I don't want it to be close to the camper to minimize exhaust fumes and noise.
Thanks for any suggestions have may have.

Health Risk from Using Calphalon Cookware
I just got a set of Calphalon cookware for my camper but started reading about it on the net and there's some concern that the non-stick coating on the aluminum cookware might be toxic and hazardous to one's health.
Anyone else using it and do you have any concerns?

I retired from the tire business, I had a fairly large wholesale business and retail was a secondary line, in 31 yrs in the business I never had any wholesaler ask about build dates, I did have a few retail customers ask and we just refused to go thru a pile of tires in a warehouse to find new dates, alot easier to just blow the customer off, I know nobody wants to hear that but we never had time to screw with build dates, nothing in my inventory was over a year old, and to sit in a dark warehouse pushing tires around to find a build date sure isn't worth a 4 tire sale..........
In other words....I could care less because "there's a sucker born every minute?"

I confirmed with DirecTV today the following:
A SL3 receives guide on 101
A SL5 receives some of the guide on 101 and the rest of the guide on 119.
If 119 is block, your DVR will eventually start popping up a "Problem getting guide" message. THis message pops up continuously causing you to miss part of the regular picture on certain channels. Channels not getting it's guide on 119 will not show the message.

Thanks guys. Very helpful info. I think I'm going to swap my 5 LNB dish in for a 3 LNB model. 119 is a bit away from the others (103,101,99) making it more difficult to get everything needed thru there trees. Can you think of any downside to this?

DirecTV Satellites - What's actually on each Satellite?
Is there someplace I can obtain a listing of which channels reside on which satellites on DirecTV? I thought all of my programming came over satellites 99, 103 and 101.
I'm getting all my channels but the system keeps popping up a message saying it can't load my channel guide because the dish is not aligned properly or correctly selected.
