On the road mail?
Any advice on what to do about getting mail on the road when you have an indefinite itenerary?
Is General Delivery at the post office still available? Is it reliable?

Well, yeah. That was my first thought, but all I can do there is get a small amount of info about the complete jack and dwnload a manual.
Monday, I will give tem a call, but my experience with factories hasn't been good. They just refer you to a local rep, and I have already checked with them.

Atwood Power Jack Parts?
Some IDIOT (whose name will NOT be supplied on demand) left his tailgate dwn while backing up! Crunched into the tongue jack---an Atwood power jack" and crnnched the night light lentil and its switch. Only cosmetic because I never use the nightlight anyway.
However, I would like to make the jack look a bit nicer. Question: where can I get these components?
Can someone recommend a source? Thanks.

RE: The Springs at Borrego??
We have driven through most of the private parks in Borrego Springs, and find that Anza Borrega State Park is more to our liking.
The private parks that are reasonably priced are pretty crowded together. There is a really upscale resort that has a golf course, but as I recall, the rates push a hundred bucks a night for short stays.
Sorry I can't remember the names. After we make a decision, they have a tendency to fade. But we have stayed in Anza Borrega several times and it is to our liking. Full hookups, and nicely spaced sites. Plus, it is no more than a mile or so from town.

P.S. Did a web search, and The Springs is the upscale place I mentioned. It was very, very nice when we drove through last winter. I think you will be happy there, though I am sure your wallet will complain!

RE: Dish tailgater satellite antenna
Just got the VP211 receiver and a Tailgater. It works fine EXCEPT that I can't get satellite no. 118 for international programming.
The guy in the rv department at Dish said it is a basic limitation, something about the software. I get a signal from it, but the receiver tells me I am not subscribed.
Can anyone shed any light on this issue?

Art, just happened to think of this. There is couple that we see at Moose Lodge meat draws here from Shady Cove, Milt and Mary Ann.
Are you guys in Yuma now? You might mentuin to Mary Ann that my wife Lalah is a member of Material Girls, the local quilting group. If she's a quilter they might know each other. Otherwise, Shady Cove is a pretty small place, so I'm sure we have at least brushed past them on occasion.

Quilters' Park in Yuma?
I am posting this question on behalf of my wife, who is an avid quilter.
Can anyone recommend an rv park in the Yuma area that is:
a. Not close to the highway or other noise source
b. Is frequented by folks who like to quilt?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I would like to talk her into spending some winter time in Yuma!
