RE: It happened again!

I always slide my truck under the hitch with the handle in, that way I can see the handle pop out/in. After that I check that the jaws are wrapped around the pin. Reese 16k slider bought with the trailer, second truck.

RE: Do I need slider or not?

See my sig for my truck, just like yours. I have a Reese manual slider. I use it every time I back into my driveway or back into my storage lot. The front of my trailer is very blunt. I have also used it a few times in campgrounds if I thought I might need it.
I have always thought" better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it" :)

RE: Truck Tire Suggestions

I love my Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2. Myself and three family members have them and we all two. They hold up great and have great traction in all weather and conditions.
I'm on my 3rd set on 2 different trucks with no complaints

RE: Anyone make a 5er TH for a 3/4 ton truck?

One post suggested a Montana. Didn't realize they made a TH. Am I out of the loop...again?? :)))))
There is a Montana Mountaineer toy hauler, 357 is the model # I believe.

RE: Taking delivery of new TH

I saw the 3310 at a RV show in OKC. didnt really care for it. I havnt seen the 3612 in person, but the floorplan looks much better for my needs.
What are you using to tow it?

RE: Toy Haulers: I'm tired of tires

Hey, I don't have a toyhauler or live in Caly, but I like it here and have always felt welcome. As far as I can tell, both Mods do a great job. I will continue to read and post here as well as the 5er forum.
How about we discuss bikes vs. quads vs. sxs. Or 4 stroke vs. 2 stroke. Much more interesting reading. :)
Mapguy, I am in awe. VERY cool trail. You have to be on your "A"game to ride that!!

RE: Double Tow 5'R and Boat

I am wanting to tow a fifth wheel and a boat. I am looking for a late model 5'R that is no more than 26 feet long , from pin to rear bumper. My boat ,truck and combined overall length restricts me to this size in my state. Please advise me of decent quality 5'R s of this size capable of towing a 3000 lb., boat motor trailer combo.
Thanks
If you can find a trailer like mine, it would work very well for you. I have had mine for 4 years, no problems and I double tow often, although dirt bikes not a boat. Fab or have a good hitch installed and you will be set.

RE: sliding hitch questions

I do it every time I pull mine from storage to the house or vice versa. No issues at all.

RE: Happy Friday - Who's going where?

FISH LAKE VALLEY NEVADA for a full WEEK!
Riding some pristine trails with my fellow Viewfinders and friends. Should be epic week of single track and dual sport. Will have video and photos when I return.
NOBODY WILL BE ABLE TO TOP THIS!!!!!
That does sound awesome, but I got to ride with my 70 year old Dad today. Now that is hard to beat!!:)

RE: Side Loading Toyhauler

Wildcat by Forest River has a 5th wheel model. There are bumper pull models, just not familar with them.

RZR 4 12 foot garage?

Will a Rzr 4 seater fit in a 12 foot garage? Does the bed/loft interfear with it? Will 2 full size dirt bikes fit in there with it? If anyone has this set up, I would love to see a pic of it. Thanks

RE: Help!!...Tire problems

I use the Maxxis load range E on my rig. I like them, no problems after a full season of camping. I run them at max pressure, checking them every day I travel to be sure they are good.

I agree. However finding a 5th toyhauler without a garage is not easy.

RE: This one is sweet...

Saw this one at the RV show in OKC today. 10,768 was the weight sticker in the kitchen cabinet. Nice looking rig. I don't care for the downstairs bathroom

RE: Garage Model vs Open Floorplan

Ive never understood the no smells comments. I dont see how a thin wall and door can keep out fuel smells. I spilled gas in my garage at home, and it stunk up the whole house. I know my door and walls at my house are thicker than a RV.

My brother has one. It is a towing BEAST. Not the best on fuel, as said above.
