Hunter Mountain, NY

I'm looking for a full hook up site near Hunter Mountain, NY. I'm heading up there in August for the Celtic Festival. I found a KOA in Woodstock about 20 plus miles away, but I'm looking to get closer. Any suggestions?

Winnebago Industries Horrible Customer Service

So today I contact Winnebago Industries - Towables Warranty & Service regarding 2 cracks that are coming from the screw holes holding my door in place on my 2007 Sunset Creek 298BHS. They told me I could bring my unit to the factory for a goodwill fix because the unit was out of warranty and they would not cover the dealer to do a “Field Repair”. I was told that they would not cover travel expenses or lodging. I tried to explain to the Service Manager that I lived over 800 miles away and I was told” Sorry you live so far away.” I was also told by him that it seems like a door installation issue. I have to tell you that this is one of the reasons why the RV industry is tanking, poor customer service. It’s actually cheaper for me to pay out of pocket and have my local dealer repair the issue then to travel 1600 miles round trip plus tolls, fuel, lodging, meals and time off. I use my camper about 4 times a year and put at most, 3000 miles on it yearly. I have to say I will NEVER buy another Sunnybrook or a Winnebago product.

RE: camping near assateague island

We just got home from a week long trip at Castaways RV Resort. Great place! I have been camping for 4 years now and we haven't stayed at the same campground twice. I booked 3 spots for next year at Castaways already (work friends coming). The staff was great and the campground was super clean. I don't have a dog, but the park is super dog friendly. As for the bugs, there were a lot of black flies but the nats and mosquitoes weren’t that bad.
