RE: New tow vehicle

Excellent choice. There is a Cam Sensor? that can fail on that engine. They are cheap. You should pick one up and keep it in your glove box.

RE: I welcome you to Canada....if ya poor, you have no chance!

Funny how immigrants like to complain about the countries they immigrate to. Maybe you should have immigrated to the USA.

RE: 2006 Ford F250 XLT 6.0 Turbo Diesel To Haul My Camper?

My '03 PSD was a great truck. My '06 PSD was a piece of junk. Last straw was a high pressure fuel pump. Ford replaced under warranty. But it is about a $5000 repair.

RE: Hitching/Unhitching Clarification Needed

Sounds like you had the pin bound against the slide in the hitch. Once you are in position with wheel chocks in place, put TV in reverse and backup against your wheel chocks. This will release the pin from the slide.

RE: spray in liner before or after 5th wheel hitch install?

Have the holes drilled. Have the bed liner sprayed in. Install the hitch.

Prince Albert National Park

Reservation Service opened at 7:00 am MST. Within 10 Minutes all 142 sites were booked for the summer. BTW if you are heading into N Saskatchewan this summer there is a nice new Shell Service Centre on Hwy 11 at Hague SK. 40km 25 miles north of Saskatoon SK. 3 islands with diesel and a fast diesel pump off to the side. Islands are at an angle to the building. Lots of room to stop for some pizza or a sub.

RE: Surging problem continues some - cruise control?

rgnprof, How many mph is the surge? I once had a 1988 Ford E-150 that surged about 5 mph, up and down. It did this consistently with the cruise on, and was OK with cruise off. One time the repair shop was working on something else and noticed the right brake light not working and found/fixed a wire problem. After that the cruise worked smoothly. On a separate occasion, the cruise started surging again. Remembering the previous fix, I checked the lights (brake, parking, license etc) and found a loose wire shorting to metal in the spare tire carrier (hanging on the rear door, the way older conversion vans did). I think it was the aftermarket license plate light. I plugged that wire back into it's connecter and the cruise control was OK again. So, you might check the lights (brake, parking, license plate) and their wires. racer4 1993 Areostar Sport started do this. Shop told me it was a bad ground. Sorry I don't know where the bad ground was.
