RE: Allegro 35QBA Bedroom / Bunk Speakers

OUr Newmar has drop down DVDs in the bunks as well and they only work through the headsets. Be thankful, otherwise I'm sure our kids would leave them cranked up and running even when they are outside.

RE: Allegro 35QBA Bedroom / Bunk Speakers

They have what appears to be speaker "vents", but I can only hear sound through the headsets.
That may be a "Good" thing.

RE: Onan 7.5 Diesel Genset Fuel Pump inflated price *RESOLUTION*

I hope the answer to this thread will help people.
Onan/Cummins is known to buy parts from other suppliers, put them in their box and charge an inflated price for it. I have seen this with Champion spark plugs for their gas gensets.
So I need a fuel pump for my Onan 7.5 DKDFJ diesel genset. It has the Facet one seen in the pic, it is leaking. Called the dealer here and it's part number 149-1828 and runs $180. These Facet pumps can be had for less than $90 on eBay.
The questions is... How do I know which one has the right spec?

I suppose for the extra $90, you will get some sort of security knowing you have the right part.
Ebay is known for their warranties and return policies.

Go downhill at the same speed you went uphill.

RE: my new to me1984 23' winnebago chieftain

I know this is not your situation, but there is a guy doing a total restoration of his Class "C". It goes on for over 300 pages. Let's hope you are not headed in that direction.
Remember, you didn't buy an RV, you bought a part time job.
Those wooden ramps look a little scarey to me. There is a lot of weight on them.

HERE
Is another discussion about the 96 Tiffin roofs. Per this poster, the roof is rubber.

RE: Large Rig Friendly California State Parks

I have never had any issues at the state parks not letting me in for being over 30'. Never had a problem even finding a site large enough. I wouldn't worry.

RE: I Bagged a "Turkey"

This sort of reminds of the episode of WKRP Cincinnati (anyone that old to remember this show)? Anyway, for a Thanksgiving publicity stunt, they hovered over a parking lot in a helicopter and dropped live turkeys to the crowd below, not realizing turkeys can't fly.

RE: Decal replacement project

I tried to apply a small section of vinyl graphics. It is not easy. You only get one chance. Bubbles and wrinkles are hard to avoid. Hire a pro or paint them on.

RE: Monaco, where are they on th emarket?

Monaco är en bra RV. Ja, skulle traileing armarna vara ett problem, men det kan fastställas. Du gas bränslekostnader måste vara nära $ 8 per gallon. Jag antar att vi inte har allt så dåligt här borta.

RE: Life after Red Max Pro

I am not certain what you are asking. I think you are concerned about
washing the awning and that affecting the RMP? If so, you have nothing to worry about. The stuff is pretty bullet proof.

RE: RV Lot Financing

In today's banking environment, "lot" loans as they are called do not exist. You have to go to private money, which is pretty expensive. You would be expected to put up at least 50% of the require amount.
I am assuming this is what you are talking about- to develop a Lot or bare land.

RE: winnebago disc brakes

X2 what wolfe10 said. Go down the hills at the same speed you went up them. I rarely use my brakes when descending a hill, except for an occasional "stab" to slow things down. Use your gears, not the brakes and take your time.

RE: Looking for a good Dash Camera

A lot of Jack Asses apparently have gotten the word as the driving around my car is getting better.
Just wondering. How would they know? (the Jack Asses I mean) Have you had frequent problems with people around you? Just a bit confused.
