RE: Slide Out Sequence

Your Avalnche has the twist valves in the pump area, on the door side, near the front.
There should be the selector valve right above the pump, plumbed into the system.
I think Keystone even labels which valve is for which slide.
Did you have a PDI and demo when you picked up the 5W?? Funny the Tech wouldn't show you how to use the valves.....

RE: Anyone Purchasing Carriage's?

Just recently sold our leftover 2011 Carriage Royals, and the warranty we offered was a 50/50 split on a 4 year coverage......customer paid $1300.

Roof racks....

The three pickups all tow fifth wheels. Obviously, the Suburban does not :h

RE: Carriage Cameo at La Mesa RV

Depends what model.....
If it's one of the big boys, like a 37RQS, or CKSLS, then that's not terrible for a trailer that lists at $91,000...
Don't forget the 8% price increase they had in 2012.

RE: NADA vs Dealer pricing

What is it worth to you?
Typically, the trade is worth twice the NADA RETAIL value, and then you want to pay wholesale on the new one.
Just saying.......typical scenario.

RE: which bunkhouse

Check out the newest floorplan from Kodiak...the 300BHSL
http://kodiak-rv.com/media/floorplans/kodiak-rv/2012/large/300bhsl.jpg
It has opposing kitchen slides, a slide out bunkroom with 2nd dinette, and a small outside kitchen. Also, industry leading pass thru storage in front.
This model will be at the Greater Philly RV Show in March...

RE: Primetime Lacrosse 318bhs experience

An FYI on the smooth "E-stone" countertops........
Prime Time has recognized the fact that the shiny tops are relatively soft and scratch easily.
The newest builds will be using a different top, that is much closer to the durability of Corian. It has a slightly duller apperance, but is much harder, and won't scratch as easily.

RE: Is this covered under warranty??

Sure its covered....just like 90% of the other owner induced issues that dealer's are expected to cover.

RE: How much sag?

Hey Matt,
You know I had my '06 Dodge hooked to our 5er, and I had put the Timbrens on to just ride level when loaded.
No major sag, just hauled firewood and all our other "goodies". I'm estimating 2200lbs of pin weight when loaded....
I also need to change my pic.....just too lazy I guess.

RE: 5th Airborne and Pull Rite Super Glide

I can tell you from experince that it is because of the airbag in the Fifth Airborne.
I have the same set up, and it is a b*itch sometimes to get the hitch to latch.
I can back into the pin 10 times, and move the 5er up and down, and it still won't latch. Get it "just right" and it latches in one time.
The airbag and shock doesn't let the pinbox "ride" up onto the hitch plate like a normal hitch. It more "rolls", because the airbag gives. The Pullrite hitches have such tight tolerances around the pin, that it needs to go in perfect to latch.

RE: Does this floor plan exist

I would say an Alpine also, but a 3700RL.
Or their new front living room model.
Perhaps an Avalanche 341TG?? Could be an adult bunk model.

RE: Crazy price on a unit.

Cost is still cost folks.....
Do you really think a dealer will sell at a loss just to move an orphaned coach...??
So far, since Carriage has gone down, we had 5 new 2012's on our lot, and 3 have sold.
And they weren't given away under cost......
