RE: Couple questions.
I have a Reece 16k round bar slider and it makes a little noise. It's mounted with 4 pins and there is a little loosness, you wouldn't be able to get the pins in and out if there wasn't. The slider mechanism also has some loosness for it to work. I have a 06/350 and my trailer sits a little high in the front also.I have about 7 inches of clearance,bed to trailer. If you just bought the trailer take the truck back and have one of the service techs look at the hitch to make sure that everthing on the hitch is as it should be.
I have the same hitch..

I would say there is about 1"1/2 to 2" difference from front to back and about 6" from box to trailer. I can lower down the hitch to the bottom last bolts if I make some adjustments, which would lower it by an inch I think. I have a pic of my set up just not sure how to post it.

Couple questions.
I have a couple questions. First is it better to have my trailer level front to back or is it better to be slightly higher in the front? Reason I ask is the Reese Hitch I have has 1 more set of holes to go down but will need some adjustment to lower the hitch all the way down. My trailer is sitting higher in the front then the rear.
I just bought a 2012 25BH Fiberglass Zinger 5th wheel its weight is 7000lbs empty no propane etc. So I would think around 10-11K full. I have a 2010 F350 diesel as a tow vehicle with a camper package as well. This was my first weekend out with the 5th wheel never had a 5th wheel before, my question is that I hear some banging going on in the rear, or under the truck when I hit some bumps. It sounds like metal not sure if it is my hitch making the sound or if its the overload springs hitting there stops. Anyone with any experience with this?

Thanks for the advise. There will be no power, I will have my Honda genny with me though. The temps during the day will be -2 at night and 10C during the day.

Question???
Well bought a new 5th wheel and we are dieing to try it out.
The question I have is what kind of temps are safe to be camping in without worrying about breaking a pipe or damaging something? The temps still hit -3 Celsius at at night.

Your temps are fine. 220 is not abnormal to see while climbing up steep hills. Do a search on the internet. Just make sure you do your maintenance .

Where did you get our H&S from? Did you get custom tunes?
I have a Spartan, was sure thinking hard about the H&S though. I don't have Air care so not to worried about the "Fuzz" pulling me over, and am pretty sure that wont happen.

I have a 2010 F350 and I love it.....I was towing a TT now Have a 5th wheel. My DPF fell off a couple months ago so I will have to wait and see how the Spartan tuner is..I am think about a CAI and a new CAC pipe as well.
Truck only has 14,000 KMHs.

I just did the same thing, but I have 2 kids, and 2 large dogs. I think I will try keeping them in the cab first.
I had them in the back of the truck in a canopy when I had my trailer.They had the hole box to themselves before.
One dog is real old and I think she would have a heart attack from the stress of being in the trailer and me being out of her sight. The other one well not sure, he is so mellow I am not sure if he even knows we are moving sometime..

How to set up hitch?
Is there a link somewhere that tells you how to properly set up and level a 5th wheel trailer and hitch?

What type of tires are on your rig? Try large mud flaps. The other thing you can do is put a product on it. I forget what it is called but its like a see through very thin rubber.

I am sure I would need to buy a real long trailer before I would be over weight, but I need to buy a shorter trailer because I dont want it hanging into the street off my driveway..
