Why take a chance on overheating the genny? Also the added vibration of being attached to the RV?

The lower aluminum tray is bolted to the truck bed. The diamondplate cover has two keyed locks that lock it to the lower tray. It's just a different twist on normal thinking. Some will remove the cover and leave the generator in the box. I decided to remove to box, and leave the generator in the cover.:B

You guys are really over-thinking this...
I had this aluminum diamondplate box/tray with locks made for $185.
I remove the box(cover) and run the generator right in the back of my truck. I made a sunbrella cover in case it rains.

Yes, but does your have it's own "fridge full of "Cristal", and a flatt screen and giant sub woofers....see and you thought we were over thinking !

I've got a Weber Genesis 310, a Smokey Mountain smoker, and a Q220 w/cart. That's $1200-$1300 combined cost. Worth every penny. Until you've cooked on a Weber, you won't believe the difference.
