Not trying to start a 6.2 gas motor verses the 6.7 diesel debate but how do you owners like your 6.2 gas motor for towing & being dependable?I have owned my 2011 ford F-250 super duty going on 19 months, mileage on the OD is only 14,000 miles. My problems so far the TSB for shifting problems(replaced 3 solenoids, reprogramed tranny) that were resolved under factory warrenty, front center console lid needed replaced because of missing rubber groment. My mileage is around 12.8-13.8 mpg in city/highway driving.coobie

The opinions you get from judgerr's link will be much more accurate than what you will receive here. Sorry but brand flaming in this section of RV.net is the worst I have read anywhere.

Love mine. Only 6k miles on it, bought in May-2011. No problems so far. Mileage is about the same. I look at it this way: If I wanted great mileage, I'd have gotten a little car. But for towing a trailer, I want this.

We also have a toyhauler trailer, so a the end of the weekend, if I have gas left in the fuel station/generator tank, I pump it into the truck for the drive home!

Fuel is about the same. Has 34,000 miles on it. Changed the oil, filters and one rear turn/brake light bulb. Yea, I am that guy here in my area that uses turn signals. Manual 4WD works great and so does the electric locking rear end. The 4.30 rear end gears and 6 speed tranny are a great match.

12.8-13.8 MPG with the 6.2L? If that is average, no thanks.
