I get as close as possible to a true level because I hate cooking on a stove that isn't level!
I REALLY don't like it when everything slides to the side of the pan!

While we're on the subject, I wonder if it is OK to leave a fridge turned off for long periods of time, off-level, as on a mildly sloped driveway? Is it good to run a fridge periodically or does it matter?
