Took my MH in to a Yuma RV dealer for a faulty satellite system, and leaky jack and faulty CO2 monitor.
They worked over 7 hours, three of those hours with me present and helping, to get the King Dome to work. Turned out to be a faulty coax with intermittent faulting and a poor connection inside the dome. The extended warranty wouldn't pay for the diagnosis and repair but the dealer apologized for their taking so long to fix the problem and only charged me for two hours of work. Jacks and CO2 were covered but....I have a $100 deductible and since I purchased the warranty from them, they only charged me a $50 deductable. I couldn't have been happier. This is the same dealer I purchased the MH (used) from 7 years ago. I've had two other dealings for service work with them in the past and results were just as good.

Very glad to hear it worked out and they gave you good service.
Just a note though: Previously being married to a tech for a long time, they really would rather customers "didn't help". They prefer to do the job and then render the fixed rig to the customer. I am sure since they are so customer service oriented, they would never tell you that...so I am just saying that from someone who knows a lot of techs and how they feel about customers "helping".
Not a slam to you at all, but let the guys do what they are paid for.

Great to hear of the good service and that there are places you can go to get good service when you need it.
With that I am also surprised they let you help out in their shop since OSHA rules are pretty stringent on not letting that happen.
Ya, give us the dealer's name in case we need good service like that when in the area.

Me too. It is nothing but liability for them.

I was only allowed in the service area because they needed my input in how I was able to (sometimes) get the King Dome to actually lock onto the satellite. It was a really unique problem.
The dealer is LaMesa RV. I was tenative to mention the name because I've also read some negative threads about them and I didn't want to get in a thread or argument about them. They have treated me very well in the 7 years since I made my purchase from them in Quartzsite. I will add my response to RV Service Reviews.
