Thanks for all the information. I will definitely check it over really good the next couple of days. I actually did smell something OUTSIDE the MH, then I checked the gauge. I went inside and did not smell anything, and the propane detector did not go off. I am sure it was working because I tested it. Anyway, I will check the stove and then the connections to see if I can track it down. Stand by, I will probably have more questions the next few days!! Thanks.

I agree you probably have a leak, and agree you must find it, regardless if by yourself or pay to have it done. You don't mess with Superman, or with propane, period.

I have the same problem, and mine goes down about as fast as yours. I filled mine twice this summer, at 2 different propane places, and they both gave me the same advice:
"When it is leaking that fast, and you can't smell it inside, it has to be leaking outside. If you don't store your RV indoors, just shut the valve off when not using the RV, and ignore it."
Both places said propane has to be contained to explode, and even if you held a match up to the leak outside, at most you would have some fire that looked like a lighter.

Our leak on our propane was the gasket for the gauge.

if it didnt leak before you refilled it, you may just have not tightened your regulator enough.

As far as I know, the leak did not exist before I had it refilled last time. I don't know much about the "filling up" operation, is there something the gas guy might have done (or not done) that would cause a leak?

Check at the connection where they fill the tank the last time mine was filled I found a small leak there. I figured either trash or moisture froze and kept it from sealing properly.

Sorry but if you have to ask that question, you should pay someone, or get someone who knows gas to fix it.

Propane is not bad,,,,, unless it is. Then it's too late.

For anyone to tell you to ignore a leak should not be in the propane business.
I am a gasfitter by trade and we would never tell anyone to ignore any kind of gas leak.

Get it fixed before it is too late.

I would agree with you if there is a complicated repair involved. However, I think I am capable of getting some soapy water and spraying on the fittings to see if there is an obvious leak that can be repaired by tightening the fittings etc. I promise not to hold a lighted match to the fittings!!
