Absolutely check the charging system. If you don't know how to do a voltage drop test on the charging circuit, PM and I can explain.

Donn0128 is correct! My sons Father in law who is in the business told me to check the serial numbers on the batteries and try and get the numbers in sequence to ensure that the batteries will be as close to equal as possible. Anything else would be asking for trouble! By all means get two deep cycle batteries and match the serial numbers as close as possible, (that would mean that the two batteries were built on the same day). If the battery says anything about Cold Cranking Amps, stay away from it as it is not the right battery for what you need!!
