when one is 600K and one is 1.1 millionK one should exspect that the one unit is superior to the other but when you view both units you will be surprized how over priced a FT is

With no 600 hp engine option, I would put the Zephyr below the Cornerstone too. American Heritage, Newmar King Aire, Entegra Cornerstone, Foretravel IH-45, and Newells, all have 600 hp engine option.

Many better choices out there than the Tiffin Z for the money.

If you want to look at a slightly used FT you will be very happy with the price. The new ones are expensive because they are all custom built to owners specs now. They might have one or two as show coaches but all the rest of the production is designed for the particular owner and the treatments inside get expensive but in the resale market that hammered copper backsplash that had to be custom made with hours of work is just a backsplash. The fact that they use single run individually numbered wires, that when you drive one you will buy one and the retarder is more powerful than an exhaust brake and cost a bunch more too. You are not even comparing the same thing unless it is just a motorhome. FT is comparable to Newell and now the new IH is going after the Bus Market but I think there it is still a bit below Liberty which in my opinion is the best motorhome manufacturer out there.
Someone said that the buses only have 500 well they were all DD series 60 as it is a commercial frame but they are now Volvo engines. There are two trains of thought to that but that is another topic. I will say that a FT with a 600 will beat a bus in fuel economy and slightly in weight since the sides are not stainless steel.

I would say that it the Tiffin makes you happy, why would you want to pay twice that for something that almost looks the Same, take away a little frill?
I have friends that have Tiffin and I have never heard nothing but Praise, and I know first hand that they will help you with any problem and explain how to trouble shoot to find a problem.
My suggestion would be to use the savings to purchase "Fuel". Unless you want to Impress Someone, and Most Campers are Not that easily impressed.
