OK, why were you pouring dishwater down the toilet?
And how did you get it from the galley sink to the toilet?

You would pour dishwater into the black water tank to conserve grey water holding space. Most people fill up the grey water tank long before the black water tank. If you are boondocking, pouring dishwater down the toilet lets you extend your stay.

2Millers1Pup,
Glad to hear you got the spoon out. It could have moved during travel and caused a future blockage.
Please don't mind the jabs and black tank humor, as you'll get a lot it in a post containing the subject "black tank retrieval".
I for one, enjoy reading of your problem solved, as well as the puns.
LOL "lunch in the pocket" never heard that one.

We had the same issue last year. Spoon in the black tank. I got lucky. Filled up the drained tank with water, drained in to portable tote and said spoon was in there. Tossed the spoon.

A spoon in your black tank? Sounds painful.
