I haven't heard MANY good review on Marathon since they moved back to China. When they were US made they were a pretty good trailer tire. I average over 40,000 miles per set of Maxxis though.

Love my Maxxis, although they have only been on for two years. No problems though.

Be sure it is the M8008 series Maxxis in your size. They make a lesser capacity Maxxis tire as well.

In the past, I've gotten good service from bilt in the USA Marathons. Currently running Maxxis and happy so far. I did go from 205 C to 225 75 15 E rated tires. Good luck.

If you are going with an ST tire...Maxxis is really your only 'smart' choice.

For your area, try Discount Tire.. They might try to sell you something else..(Chinese) but insist on Maxxis..They can order them for you.

Our Maxxis have been excellent.

Maxxis, they may actually be cheaper than the Goodyear Marathons and they are a better tire.

Thanks

I watch my tires closely, and still I had 3 out of 4 Goodyear Marathons go bad on one 200 mile trip! Yes it was very hot at 99 degrees, but the GY's were only three years old, and had 8,000 miles on them.

I have five new Maxxis tires now, 2012 will be the second season for them.
