We seldom go over 60 to save fuel.

Yes, this is true. BTW, my truck while towing the horse trailer is stable as hell, I don't understand why I would need a 228" wheelbase to tow with a MH. I would prefer at least a 200" (the Hurricane is 208") though.

Your right I did. Dull moment here at the moment. Day dreaming what a gasser with the back end torn off would look like.

not too far out of line IMHO. I remember reading about somebody who had a warranty issue, I think transmission related, and the person wrote in that he had changed the oil at 5050 miles or some such when the interval was supposed to be 5,000 miles and the claim was not approved. absolutely no connection between this and the failure.
but I agree, the toaster and can opener would probably still be covered.

It's just something to consider, be probably pretty low on the list. The distance between the hitch and axle is the problem or how much rear over hang behind the rear axle. Acts like a cheater bar on a breaker bar. The distance will amplify any torque of a trailer.

I have around 12", about 1/3 of my coach, between the axle and hitch and my 3K lbs Honda causes a bit of wiggle sometimes.

Good news for the wiggle is that the Pickup is 6-7000# and the MH is double or triple that. Bigger dog for the tail to wag

we have a 2011 Hurricane 34T (bunk beds). I tow a 4 door Jeep. I love the Hurricane and how it handles. Thor's customer service has been excellent.

Seems like people like their Hurricanes. And the DW is starting to feel like that's the one. I had found a 2008 Newmar gasser that looked pretty nice and was much cheaper and although Newmar is well known for quality coaches, the DW looked noticeably disappointed. LOL! We're going to look at some this weekend just to see them up close. I think we'll end up in the Hurricane though. Thanks everyone.
