Requesting information if step ladder brackets are available anywhere for purchase where they would attach a step ladder to my existing ladder on the rear of my Winnebago. I never like the idea of carrying a step ladder with me while traveling. But I did some winter camping this year and it was time to leave the CG and there was four to six inches of snow on my slide out toppers. I had no way of getting snow off of the slide out toppers (couldn't reach from the ground) and I wasn't about to retract the slide with all that snow on the toppers. I was really nervous crawling on my hand and knees with a broom on the snowy Winnebago roof! It was a complete success, but here goes my national anthem "I'll never do that again! I want to carry a step ladder with me now and trust that the DW will steady it for me next time I go snow camping. I don't want a under storage ladder or just bunge cord it to the Winnebago ladder. I would prefer a bracket with bunge cords to hold the ladder.

Bought a bracket at Camping World for ladders or chairs that attaches to the rear ladder.

For RV specific brackets, camping world. For make shift ones, home depot.

4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

Go to camping world site and look up "over the ladder chair and bike carrier". This is what I use to carry the 6 foot step ladder. I attach a few bungee cords and it works perfect for me

I have one of the collapsable 7' ladders from CW. It is 6"X6" when collapsed. A little bit spendy but stores easy.

I'd love to carry a ladder on my coach but realistically, I'd have to decide between the ladder, bikes, or a blue tote. Therefore, I impress upon the kindness of my fellow campers if I'm ever in a bind and need a ladder. Usually someone will have one and it makes more sense to borrow a ladder than a blue tote or bike. So I've opted against the ladder.

Ditto X 2. These over the RV ladder carriers are great for so many things.
I have two of them on my ladder the simple RV black iron one near the top and the gray RV bike carrier further down. They have been on the back of my RV unattached (they hook that well) to the ladder for years now and come in handy numerous times.

I also found these thick rubber twist ties the construction workers use all the time to attach ladders on top of trucks. These things are just great for anything no matter the weight!

Thanks Rock and the rest of the poster! I'll make a trip to Camping World!

Buy this ladder and this sewer hose holder from Camping World. Mount the sewer hose holder on a side wall in a pass thru bay. The full size collapsing ladder slides right into it, is stored out of the way and easy to access.

The ladder is VERY stable and will handle 300 pounds.....don't ask me how I know!
