I found this bit a bit humorous:

Note: Possesion or use of any glass container used to carry any liquid for drinking purposes is prohibited. (43 CFR 8361.1-6)

I'm guessing the continued thought is, "Please drink yer beer from a can or keg."

Watching the KOH races is free.

The only entry fee is to get into Hammertown to go in the pits, vendor alley, etc. and it is only $20.00 for 8 days.

Hammertown

EMC Race Video is now online

REALLY wanted to go this year......but it wasnt in the cards. Next year will probably be a for sure. Look for "Red" pulling a gooseneck with the S&S and a Scout 80 on the back.....to get to a good view point!

No, but it is possible for a many/most people to build a "Stock" class, or Stock Modified class rig. The KOH buggies are way beyond "Everyman's" means. Of course, the definition of Stock is still pretty loose.

There will always be cherry pickers.

Yep, the last two living things left on Earth will be cock roaches and cherry pickers.
