Main event is not until next Friday. This year they added a Every Man Challenge Race

I left La Habra at noon on Saturday 2-4-12 and I was in Hammertown by 2:30pm.

Hammertown

The EMC race started at 8am this morning.

Shot of a racer coming down Jackhammer

The winners: John Currie and Gerald Lee

I took some shots of a few of the TCs at the event

This was TC Alley. 8 TCs all parked next to each other.

Hardly "everymen" John is one of the biggest and oldest suppliers of custom suspensions/parts to the hard core Jeep/rock crawling community and Gerald started Savvy which pioneered the aluminum armor craze a couple of years ago.

Looks like fun, our club had a representative or two out there, I wish I could have gone to watch but not in the cards this year. Thanks for posting the pics.

That's a lot of tc's, I would not have expected that many. Seems the motorhome/toyhaulers dominate the desert scene these days. Thanks for the pre-race shots and I'll hope you're back out there next weekend for more.

Add one more TC to the lot. I'm heading down on wed., it's a long drive from Northern Ca., but from what i hear it's well worth it!
