It is gas so that would be a possibility too. I've got a Chevy 6.0 2500 4.1 rear to pull it.

A couple food picks of KCBS meats but not from a contest. The last two show how We've been traveling to and setting up for competitions. Sleeping on a street in October with it raining and 33 degrees when the air mattress kept leaking so we ended up literally on the street made my wife and teammate say no more!

We had a GM 2500HD with the 6.0, we would fill the fuel station and truck before the trip and then pump the fuel station into the truck to get home. Worked decent enough for us. I did keep a empty 5 gallon jug handy just in case I needed to transfer fuel without unhooking and backing along side the T H to re-fuel.
Right now I have a 25 gal generator fuel tank, since the fuel pump quit AGAIN !!

How old is it? Do these tanks have fuel pump issues frequently?

The T H is 6 1/2 years old, the fuel pumps made by Graco have problems with the gears swelling up and "locking up".
I have heard its from the ethenol in Our fuel, but cannot verify that.
