Is this a wireless printer? or is it connected to the router by a cable? What operating system(s)?

Can we assume that you have reset all of the devices?

Have you uninstalled the printer driver, turned off the printer, turned on the printer and reinstalled the driver?

Did you hard code an IP address on the printer? If it got an address from the Belkin the port on the PC may be different. I would hard code like 192.168.1.199 (adjusted for your network) then delete and reinstall the printer on your PC.

Did you loose the printer drivers from the laptop? Try going to the printer mfg and downloading the latest drivers.

Then I would suspect the wireless router is acting up for some reason. maybe it is time to spring for a wireless printer. I upgraded a month or so ago and am still learning how to use everything. It is a real hoot when you are sitting at the computer and the printer starts up and prints because DW sent something to it from her Ipad up stairs. heck this think has it's own IP address so I can send print commands to it via email.

Take your laptop and connect it to the printer and see what happens.
