How can you tell if your M & G System is working. We had ours installed at the place of business in Athens, Tx. and they said to hold your foot on the brake pedal of the car with no pressure while someone else applies pressure to the brake pedal on the MH. You should then feel some slight movement. Our experience is you have to apply slight pressure before you can feel anything. On our Roadmaster Brakemaster when you depressed the brake pedal on the MH you could see the brake pedal move on the car. With this slight movement of the brake pedal with the M & G system or we getting adequately braking?

In '06 when I bought and installed mine they offered a dash mounted receiver and a under hood sending unit(pressure switch) that indicated when air pressure was present.

If you have a break away device with the M&G...then apply brakes to the MH with everything except the towbar connected (to charge the air accumulator). pull the breakaway switch.....see if you can move the car.

If you don't have the breakaway switch. Connect the air line to the car. Leave car in neutral. Don't connect the tow bar. While one person applies the brake in the MH, see if you can push the car. If you cannot push the car, it's working.
