I will be pulling a race car trailer behind my MH and I want to plug the trailer in to the MH for power (lights, etc). How or where would I pick up ac power on the MH so I can put a plug on the back for the trailer to plug into? Its setup for 110v @ 30 amp, although I will never use that many amps... Thanks

You probably have a block heater outlet in the engine area, often on the left side. You should have a switch inside to turn it on.

This post is my opinion (free advice). It is not intended to influence anyone's judgment nor do I advocate anyone do what I propose.

I pull my racecar with my MH. I use the block heater outlet in the engine compartment. My car hauler came with a 30 amp plug like what you'd see on a camper. I bought a converter plug so I can use a standard 115 VAC plug. I've tried plugging into an outlet in the basement but if a lot of stuff is on in the trailer (air compressor, battery charger, fan, lights) I will trip that breaker. I've never tripped the block heater breaker. My block heater doesn't work and I've never needed it so I've been contemplating moving the plug to a location that's easier to get to because when the trailer is hooked up I can only open the engine cover about 8 inches which makes getting to the plug a real chore.
