X2 on the Ford Edge. I am VERY pleased with mine. I weights about 4000 pounds, no fuse to pull, about 24 mpg and really has some guts!!!

I love my Tahoe, but it may be a little heavier than you may want. I used to tow a Jeep Wrangler and it was one of the bests toads ever, just didn't have enough room for my needs.

I have to chime in on Jeep also. Have a 06 Liberty what a great toad. weights about 4200lbs with the 4 wheel drive. Does not ride like a town car but is great. With the back seat down lots of room
