We are traveling in a 36ft Class A Fleetwood Fiesta with a toad and two dogs. We would like suggestions for a good, cheap RV park closest to the Vegas Strip.

We always stay at the Oasis...turn east off of 15 to Blue Diamond Hwy and it's right there. The strip is just a couple of blocks east of there. HERE is their website.
Hope this helps..

Well I don't know about cheap but circus circus is on the srip and walking distance to everything. Its all pavement but sell laid out, decent size sites for any combo, nice pool, basic RV parts supplies, great staff, clean, quiet (as the strip can be) and secure as anywhere else. My guess is with your coach you will be paying around 40 to 45 dollars for full hookups.
You are very close to the Stratosphere as you can see from this picture taken in the campground. Good location.

Not sure how long you want to stay, we pay monthly rates. Includes power, water, sewer, Cable tv, Telephone line. We have a Casino, club house, heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, large club house with laundry room, tv's pool table and exercise room. It is approximately 2.5 miles from the LV Strip.
Hope this helps.

We've stayed in Circus Circus a few times and some of the sites are a bit better than others. Kind of more civilized like, grass, trees etc. The rates have soared like just about everything else in this economy. I think the last time we stayed there, and picked a nice spot, semi-close to the pool and hotel, lots of shade and on an end, it was $70.00 for the night.
The last time we stayed at the Oasis, it was fairly loud 'cause we were placed fairly close to the freeway. That was years ago and we've not stayed there since. But, apparently some are happy with it.
We checked out another one a year or so ago that was on the eastern side of the strip and when we were placed in our spot, it was near some "live ins" that had clothes lines, broken pots with plants that were dead etc. We left there within about 6 minutes of being placed in our spot.
So, if you're just there for a night, not sure what's the cheapest, nicest, Cirus Circus is close to all, which, is about the best benny of it.

With a toad, Oasis is a great choice. If you are into upscale there's a Class A only resort. Can't remember the name, just do a search. Circus Circus is great if you just want to get some exercise and walk the strip.

The question was closest to the strip and that's the KOA at Circus Circus. People often complain about it being a big parking lot, but you are camping in a major metropolitan area. If you want trees don't camp in a city.
