What do you think? I just filled up. $3.39 per gallon.

At what price will you stop? I think my point is the $4.00 or near that.

I'm there now, $4.00 per gallon for diesel.... won't stop me from taking the 5er out but it will keep me close to home.

No, it won't destroy it. It will slow it down along with all traveling.
Maybe this will be the year to take that long trip. Yes it will cost more but, there may be less traffic.

The cost difference between $3/gal and $5/gal fuel at 8 MPG is $250 per thousand miles. Would that amount stop me from RV'ing? Not hardly... At $10/gal I might rethink it, but that would depend on how the rate of inflation has affected both my other costs and my income.

Price isn't our concern. We'll stop when we simply can't buy diesel fuel any more. When it's all gone and the pumps run dry, we'll stay home. Until then if it's available, we're traveling!!!

Happy camping!!! See y'all down the road!!!

Thanks. Everyone looks at the price per gallon and gasps. When you figure it out what the total dollar increase for an RV'ing trip IMHO it's pittances. Just don't feel the need to buy a smart phone or Nook and you're home free for funding a trip with higher gas prices!

Won't stop me either. IMHO if you have the money for toys you usually can financially handle gas increases.

Will the price of fuel destroy the RV industry and RV travel? Doubtful, but there are other factors that are killing it quicker than the fuel prices.

Will it keep us from RVing? Nope. I will just have to work harder and save elsewhere. We paid $5.11 a gallon in 2008 (I think that was the summer) and although it hurt we still put the same amount of miles on the coach and used it just as much as any other year.
