My 72 YO mom bought a Nissan Murano about 3 years ago and she loves it. She previously had a Grand Marquis that got totaled. She wanted to move to a small SUV for the same reasons. She has had some hip and back problems and it doesn't bother her at all getting in and out. She has not had to do a thing to it other than routine maintenance. Just a thought.

When it comes to "OEM" parts, I see that as being the cheapest part available to the company, but will still perform "for a while", but not as well as a top grade part as with shocks. JMO.
As to minor services like L.O.F (lube, oil and filter) including tranny filter service I prefer to go to a place like Jiffy or similar so I can stand close enough to see what is going on.
