Does anyone have one of outside motion lights I think they now come equipped with a LED bulb I like the fact my porch light does not have to be on all the time but if someone approached my door it would come on. I know security is not a big issue at campgrounds. But I thought it looked like a neat setup just wondering how well they work Thanks Joe

I'm also curious. It would work well when I walk the dog late at night. The light would then go off until I get back and only come on when I needed it.

Will be interested in seeing the range of the sensor. If it picks up someone on the road then it would be too sensitive.

Have three of them. After some adjusting ( just like any motion detectors) they work great. I have the LED's in mine. Got them through RV Adventure. Every time I go somewhere people ask about them. Use very little juice and have better light than original equipment. Love it at the hitch especially when I arrive late to camp. Note they are bright so adjust the sensitivity. Mine did peeve a neighbor one time came on and off all night. Very satisfied with them!

I picked up a battery operated motion detector/night light that works well. I think I got it at Wall mart. It has a magnet but can be screwed in place, the light is on a pivot. I just put it on the step and turn it to auto. The light comes on only when it is dark and it senses motion. When you are headed out you can stop, pick it up, move the switch to on and it is a small flash light.

We also use it inside on the oven at night. It comes on when you go to the bathroom and then goes off on its own. I need to get a couple more.

My local Costco has them. You might want to check yours if you can't find it at Walmart any longer.

We got ours from Coil N Wrap about 18 months ago. We really like it. The only issue we have is if we are approaching on the patio side from parking behind the coach (we have slides on both sides of the coach) sometimes the slide will block the motion detector sensor unless we walk 3-5 feet away from the coach.

We have one with LED light. It works great. It does come on when someone drives/walks in road in front of our MH. About 30'. It's what I want. Light comes on when we approach from the road giving us a lighted path. Neighbors across road do not trip light when they move around their site. Starlight

You know! It's not the deer I worry about... It's the etc. I worry about! Just don't make it sensitive and it will be fine. Lol

Btw my neighbor has a Champion Generator! Whom is annoying who? Lol. Sorry...

I have this light on my TT. The base attaches to the trailer and the light assembly snaps on and off leaving an almost flush surface. I have been using it for almost two years and haven't had to replace the batteries yet.

It is also available in black. I paid $39.00 and have seen it several places for the same. This is the best price I have seen.
