We bought it to get off the ground and have a rolling bathroom. We pretty much just sleep in it unless the weather or bugs are pretty bad, it's too small for much else. No TV, very little inside cooking, rarely have hookups. If the GC is nice we sit outside a lot if we're not off doing something.

At dog events (sheepherding) as a small home. We get to sleep in our own bed (no bed bugs), use our own bathroom (not the port-a-johns), cook our food (not eat out every meal), come in out of bad weather (sheepdog events rarely stop for weather), and take a break during the day (sheepdog events go from sun up to sun down).

We use ours differently depending what we are doing. We do a lot of traveling in the winter months. When we are traveling, we use it as we would a hotel - a place to come back to at the end of a touristy day.

We are seasonal from April to October (but stilll travel a bit). At this point we use it just as we would have used a tent in our younger days. We are outside all the time. Our campsite seems to be the focal point in our area of the campground with people there all the time. (That's what camping is about). It is just RVs are easier on the bones than tenting and we have all the facilities just up a few stairs.

I don't know how people come to the woods and then stay in their units. Of course I still don't know why RV manufacturers have gone to putting speakers and entertainment systems outside the units. Were we not going to the woods for peace, quiet, and serenity?

A different breed of camper folk coming along.

We just bought a used TT and are still in the remodeling phase, but the plan is to use it for BBQ competitions. What was the rear bedroom will be a place to load the grill and smoker and do prep work. It will provide us with our own bathroom and shower and be more comfortable than our current cargo trailer.
Also we are a part of Operation Barbecue Relief so if disaster strikes in our area we will use it to work out of.
And who knows, we may even use it to go camping

It depends on the time of year. If the weather is cold or rainy we spend more time in the trailer than we do if the weather is nice or even halfway decent.
We camped by a family in a MH for three days in Arches NP and never saw them. After three days they drove away. It could be that they were gone or out when we were gone but I think they spent all of there time inside. And I say family perhaps it was one person.

Our TT intended uses, as of now it still sits in the garage awaiting it's maiden voyage, under construction, but if our Truck Camper is any indication.

Ski season its the mobile hotel room to find the next storm, in the TT we have added bunks so that it will be better for 4 people skiing, I think the 110V drier will get plenty of drying time.

Fall and spring, great road trips time of year.... all the booger eaters are still in school and most places are out of season sometimes not even open. Great time of year to be in a tourist town, no tourists
The locals are in a better mood than when the scene is hopping and everything in their lives are NOT disrupted by traffic.

HUNTING season..... what else need to be said?

Moab for Mnt biking and some splashing around, Usually stop at a few hot springs on the way, also a fun way to show friends the national parks w/o spending the $1000's if we were on the economy so to speak.

In short. Out CAMPER is just that, a place for us to sleep off the ground, while we camp. When you go inside. You go to bed. Has been the rule since we started popup camping, 30 years ago.

We were tenters then moved to an HTT and now a TT and our habits have changed a little but not much. We try to be outside as much as possible, reading at the fire pit, playing games at the table. Cooking might be what has changed. Something’s get cooked inside some outside. If it’s a cool morning cooking is usually inside so the food doesn’t get cold but we eat it outside. It also depends on how long we are at a camp site. If it’s a long weekend or a week we set up an entire outside kitchen, if it’s a Fri-Sun we usually don’t and just use the stove in side or the electric fry-pan outside. Our habit changes have been more for ease and quick clean up and prep.

We do not carry a TV set, laptop etc, we go to get away from all that.

It,s your trailer, use it anyway you want.
Although I can't imagine why you'd want to be inside if it's nice outside.

I was just on a thread about sharing pics of our trailer and yes mine are there too, but my question is how do you use your trailer? Just for sleeping? Sleeping and eating? We use it mainly for sleeping and storage of our stuff and food, but spend most of our time out side, how about you??? The reason I ask is as I was looking at some of the pics it makes me think some people are in their trailer almost the whole time they are away from home. So please share with the rest of us how you use your trailer!

Almost always outside. We use it almost 100% for sleeping. That is the main reason I only got a 26 footer with no slides. I wanted to keep it pretty simple since we are not in it much. Just to go to the bathroom and sleep really. LOL And use the fridge. But drinks are outside in a cooler all day, so the fridge is mainly to just keep food cold.
