I use the name "freebies" for my urban stuff, but I like the term Wallydocking (for Walmart) and overnighters too.

For me boondocking is *always* out in the boonies...and nowhere else

When did this all become so complicated.........

When Undertakers became "Morticians"
AND
Janitors became "Sanitary Engineers"
AND
Secretaries became "Administrative Assistants"
AND
Customers became "Guests"
AND
Personnel Offices became "Human Resource Departments"
AND
on and on and on....

Here's a new one I just saw in my local paper: "Human Relations Specialist" at a local BANK!!!!

Brace yourself for "Drug Dealer" being replaced by "Unlicensed Pharmacist"!

FWIW.....I used to call it "camping".

I laugh when asked, "Where are you 'camping' this weekend?"
With these rigs, at some point it just becomes a 'House at the Lake'.

You said a mouthful- and in only ONE WORD!

I didn't have to pay to camp as a kid, and I'm not payin' now, if I can help it...
Sort of a point of honor with me, no matter how prosperous I may have become.

Of course, I also CAMP the way I did as a kid except that the tent has wheels now.

No electronics/electric appliances, no generator, no solar...battery power for light only...run out of power? Sit outside in the dark, use a gas lantern, or go to bed early!

Now THAT'S what I call campin'

It is not my fault they built a Wal-Mart in the woods where I was going to park for the night.

I'll let you all quibble about it while I go out in the woods for the weekend.

I think you got it right but I do think wally docking should be included since it is so prevalent.

I have spent the night in a new car lot when my tv was being worked on at the dealer.

Who cares? Just go and enjoy yourself. And don't forget to run your generator.
