Excuse me for butting in or being picky or whatever but it seems to me that we need to coin a new word for staying overnight in a parking lot. I have nothing against doing so if it's what you want but boondocking referrs to boondocks and in my vocabulary that means out in the backcountry. how about urbancamping or overnighting.

ho hum, who cares what you call it? call it whatever you want to.
actually, I use the term "dry camping" for any kind of camping without hookups of any kind, be it national forests or wally worlds.

I use the tern "overnighting" for the Wally world - truck stop - Cracker Barrel - etc. type places.
For me Boondocking means camping out in a reasonably remote location.
