We are about to embark on a year's excellent adventure in our 2001 1/2 Discovery Motorhome and wonder which mail forwarding service people like best and why. We belong to Escapees and FMC so I would probably use one of their services. Thanks for any input.

In addition to those, you might consider the USPS Premium Forwarding Service. I've used it for several years and love it. I'm one of those who wants to receive all my mail, junk and all, and this fits the bill. It's pricey but worth it to me.

Thanks for that info. I don't think we want to get the junk mail, catalogs, etc. though.

Ok, my opinion is: you want as little mail possible of any importance thru the paper mail service. And definitely no bills. I live 6 months on ZERO forwared mail. Occasional Netflix are easy to do because you can change your address on their site.

Good Sam mail forwarding has worked well for my for 3 years, they sort out the junk mail if you want and discard it. The cost is 10.00 per month plus postage on the manila envelope they send to me containing my mail. I have them send it to me once a week but that is up to you. I get most all my mail at the post office marked General Delivery.

I've used FMCA and they were very good. You can tell them when and where in addition to what type of mail you want.

I use Good Sams because I want to be a Florida Resident. If I had it to do again, I would use Escapees out of Texas.

Don't get me wrong, Good Sams has given me good service. Based upon talking with others who have Escapees, it seems that Escapees sorts their incoming mail a bit more quickly than Good Sams does. Sometimes when I request my mail from Good Sams, something will not be sent because it hasn't been sorted into my incoming box.
