Like most other football games, I couldn't care less, but the Pro bowl has to be the most boring of all games. I wouldn't pay a dime to see it.

I am not sure about the NHL but Major League Baseball does have the best all-star game. The NBA plays no defense in their game.

I do not see why they get at least go 75%. They have all off-season to recover.

They did not even challenge the extra points! At least lineup and pretend.

Nobody plays all-out in any all-star game, even baseball (at least since Pete Rose). You don't see someone bowling over the catcher to score in the MLB all-star game (again, at least since Pete Rose). It's a nothing game, no reason to go out there and risk significant injury to yourself or anyone else. The players don't want that, and the teams and the league that are investing millions upon millions on the players don't want that either.

Just like anything else, money ruins everything. Back in the day when they were playing 'for the love of the game', things were different. Now that significant money is involved, it's all about protection of the investment. The teams, league and the players themselves now have millions on the line.

I would guess Texas would have liked to have had World Series games 1,2,6 and 7 at home in 2011. (For those who do not know, the winning league of the MLB all-star game gets home field advantage in the World Series.)
