Last week Q was jammed with the opening of several major events. Three were for us way to many "ordinary" folks, meaning there is not much opportunity to observe and talk the "local characters" which we enjoy. So will all of you "ordinary" folks go home?
Apparently CC and BLM folks reported a 20% drop from last year.
This weekend traffic is significantly down. And we as "ordinary" folks are headed home!
And if you don't know Q is Quartzsite.

I would agree that, at least Plomosa was noticeably down. But in past years, by now that crowds had significantly thinned out in and around the show, and from our observations and talking to vendors, that's not the case this year.
Curious.....

It seems to be emptying out as folks go home. We have enjoyed our time here and will probably stay another week.

Here's a few pix I shot of the Plomosa area earlier in the week. Might be interesting to do this again on closing day (today).

There are some better 360 pans I need to upload that show the North Plomosa area and a little further N-E better. In years past it's been elbow to elbow.

Well on Friday it was elbow to elbow at the Yacht Club. But Fri/Sat traffic was light in the main Q area.
