Our new ocean front, river side, up town, motel, hotel, condo. Traded our Alpenlite in for this rarely used barn stored 2006 Montana 3000RK. It looks brand new. We just needed just a lil more room so this one gives that to us. Had to change over to it in that rain storm we got here in Texas on Teusday. Ankle deep water in the dealers camp ground. No leaks but didn't really need that much rain to test it. But we are now drying out here Arlington and taking care of little things that need attended to. After sitting for so long we had some lights that needed taken apart and cleaned so the bulbs worked, but nothing major. The only thing I have to do major is get rid of these Marathon tires and get some BF Goodrichs on her.....Oh yeah we love it

Now that you are a Montana owner, go over to the Montana Owners Club website. A wealth of information there from fellow owners. Lots of info on maintenance, operation, repairs, modifications, etc. from some very friendly people.

Lol Lol I was on the MOC site as soon as we put down a deposit. And yes we will miss the Alpenlite. It was built better then the Montana. The Alpenlite was more house like in construction and the finish was great, but we needed the room so we had to change. I do wish Western RV was still in business cause they built one heck of an RV.

So what is wrong with the Marathons? Old? I have used them for many year trouble free.

They don't call them will pops for nothing!
Seriously where have you been? There are hundreds of pages about Chinese ST tires, the explosions and resulting damage they have caused. Most people, I repeat, MOST people have replaced the speed limited ST tires with comparable LT tires and ended their troubles and worries about tire failures. ST tires even those Chinese ones seem to be OK on small lighter trailers, but when it comes to the larger heavier fifth wheels they need more and better quality than the Chinese seem to be capable of producing.

I had marathons that all turned to garbage within a 12 month times span. Even the spare that had never touched the ground. Only one left hanging on the back of the rv now and it will be changed before we go anywhere in the spring.
