previous owner says that it has 4-wheel disc brakes...will check it out and take some pics...cause without pics it never happened...right???

Grats I like older rvs as well. I'm running a 78 itasca and am working through some issues during our dark cold winter. I like to fix something up a bit and make it mine. Plus paying cash for an rv is always nice as well.
Have fun with new rig.

on the brake deal--I lived in MD years ago and we had a couple of class Cs over the years that we used all the time in the winter skiing. Steel brake lines would rust, rupture, and need replaced every 3-4 years from the salt on the roads I guess.

UPDATE: Brought camper home couple days ago...brake light went out as soon as we started it up...one problem avoided!!! my refer won't turn on...dont have any coach batteries in it yet and manual says must have 12 volt supply to refer ...so tomorrow will put in some batteries...and take some pics.

You should try to "burp" the fridge.
Lots of people have success burping them..
Lots of others replace them with standard dorm fridges with lots of success.
Good luck with your new project.
IMHO... priority 1 and 2 is brakes and tires....
Hereis a great site for classic motorhomes. They have a paid section that is more than worth the 5 bucks you pay to get access to their information library.
